Tag Day will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008 and from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2008. This is the only fundraising event in which students are the only ones who can earn fundraising credits for their accounts, but parent volunteers are needed to help make this a success . Students may participate in all 9 hours of fundraising or as little as 3 hours. Last year, students that worked for all 9 hours earned approximately $230.00. This event is a great way for the students to work off a major portion of their Band Program financial obligation. As for parent volunteers, help is needed in driving the kids around, planning and administering this event, and encouraging the kids to get out there.
In order to make sure we have enough drivers, we need students to sign up the times the expect to work and parents to sign up for driving and administration duties.
