I took the prototype Nickens Bobblehead to Mason's Fairfax Campus on Thursday, May 24th and took him for a walk around campus. As I was walking, I took pictures. That gave me (hopefully) another great idea: a 'Where was Nickens?' contest.
Below are 51 pictures I took as I walked around campus. The first person to identify the location of every picture will get a free Doc Nix Bobblehead. If you have already purchased your bobblehead, you will get you money back plus free delivery (anywhere - you've earned it!). Congratulations to Dorothy Logan who correctly identified 41 of the 51 locations in the pre-delivery part of this game.
The descriptions must be good enough for someone slightly familiar with the Fairfax Campus to be able to locate the location and reproduce the picture given this 'contact sheet' of images. Example: 1) Lower level of SUB I outside Student Activities office. (You don't need to say it was taken from the second Damons table from the stairwell, but if you do that will be used to break any ties.)
Most of the pictures were taken in public places. Some (okay, three) were taken from areas that have restricted access but the image plus the description should allow you to figure out where it was taken. Most pictures were taken in 'clusters' - figure out one, and you'll find another was taken right next to it. Some of the pictures are a little but of 'Where's Waldo'. Send your entries to bobblehead@edisonband.com. Multiple entries are fine.
Think you can make better captions then we have? Send them to bobblehead@edisonband.com. If our distinguished panel likes them, we'll add them or replace what we already have.
