In only its first year in competition, Thomas Edison Indoor Percussion has already distinguished itself as one of the finest indoor drumlines in the country. Made up of percussionists and concert ensemble members from across the Edison Band program, the line competes locally in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) circuit, and internationally in the Winter Guard International (WGI) circuit. Membership is by audition only, and is open to all students currently enrolled at Edison High School. Auditions are held in early to mid-November. The competitive season runs from late January to early April.
Awards for Thomas Edison Indoor Percussion in 2004 include First Place at the Norristown WGI Regional (Scholastic A), and First Place in AIA (Scholastic Open) Final Competition.
