The Thomas Edison Winter Guard, dueling named the 'a.R.e.' Guard has proved itself as one of the best winter guards on the East Coast. Made up of nine enthusiastic members ready to perform, the 'a.R.e' Guard competes locally in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) circuit. Membership is is open to all students currently enrolled at Edison High School and Mark Twain Middle School. The competitive season runs from late January to early April.
Awards for The 'a.R.e' Guard in 2005 include Second Place in AIA (Independent A) Final Competition.
